All GasCare applicants need to be competent in order to carry out gas work and will need to be in possession of certificates of competence in the areas of gas work they intend to undertake. Gas operatives are required to demonstrate gas safety competence by successfully completing nationally agreed assessments, carried out at an approved assessment centre.

GasCare will only accept Certificates of Competence that have been issued through the Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS). ACS Certificates of Competence are only issued by Certification Bodies that conform to ISO.17024 and have been accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). ACS Certificates of gas safety competence are valid for a maximum of 5 years. There are currently six Certification Bodies with approximately 240 centres around the UK approved to deliver these assessments.

GasCare are one of the South's leading domestic gas central heating specialists, offering gas repairs, gas servicing, emergency breakdown, breakdown and maintenance cover, installation of high efficiency boilers and powerflushing (a gas central heating de-scaler and sludge removal method to improve radiator performance).
GasCare Gas Safe registered engineers provide gas servicing and gas repairs for boilers, heating and hot water systems during annual boiler servicing and system inspection. We install high efficiency condensing boilers, combination boilers and energy efficient cylinders.
GasCare modern energy efficient radiators can be fitted with independent thermostatic radiator valves for maximum efficiency.
We provide gas servicing, gas repairs and install Natural Gas and LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) boilers (ie Calorgas). LPG is usually supplied in bottles for cookers and fires but for gas central heating systems a tank is often installed within the garden.
As well as our Gas Safe gas central heating engineers we also employ fully qualified NICEIC registered electricians, who can install virtually anything! Our electrical services include power and lighting rewires, security lighting, fuse board upgrades, landlord certification, test and inspections, portable appliance testing.
